My yoga journey began in 2006 when i came across Bikram yoga. In mid 2018, i signed in for 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Movement Singapore. The following year, i participated in few yoga workshops such as Pre / Post Natal Yoga, Inversion poses Body Elasticity and YIN to deepen my understanding of other types of Yoga as well as the poses modifications to suit different body types.
Currently i am teaching private classes (offline) and online (Power, Vinyasa, Gentle & YIN).
I lead an active lifestyle (run, cycle and swim) and yoga truly helps to create balance between my mind & body.
Yoga is a wellness activity that widely practiced for health and relaxation that includes breath control, simple meditation, and adoption of specific bodily postures.
Both Yin and Restorative forms of yoga asana are slow-paced. They enable you to move slowly and focus on maybe 10 different poses. Both forms of practice calm the mind and nervous system, enable you to turn inward, and focus on the breath.
Yin yoga is slow-paced style of yoga. Each movement and postures in this class usually held longer, between 3 to 7 minutes. Yin yoga is perfect for beginners and perfect for those who wants to try meditative yoga practice to find inner peace.
Style of yoga that links movement with breathing. It encourages self reflection and mindfulness. Vinyasa yoga sometimes is described as freestyle Ashtanga yoga because it has no fixed system of movement.
Power yoga is a more dynamic version of traditional yoga – it's faster, more intense and the focus is more on building strength and less on meditation or chanting. Because of dynamic movement, the postures in power yoga help to develop body strength and stability.
Gentle flow yoga is slow pace yoga class that synchronizes movement with breath to find balance and connection between mind and body. This yoga is designed to reduce stress, relax the mind, and rejuvenate body.
