Diane interest and love for yoga flourished when she discovered Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Mysore Style. After 14 years working in the Oil and Gas Industry, life and her passion for yoga has led her to quit her corporate job. She is a dedicated Ashtangi mysore style practitioner but she also studies modern yoga with Dini Maharani. Having started yoga at 33 years old, she deeply understands and feels how difficult building flexibility, strength and stamina can be. She sees yoga as a bubble of happiness and her students can expect a dynamic, energetic, humble and friendly atmosphere in her class. Diane remains a student of yoga, always learning everyday from her students and her teachers.
Style of yoga that links movement with breathing. It encourages self reflection and mindfulness. Vinyasa yoga sometimes is described as freestyle Ashtanga yoga because it has no fixed system of movement.
Ashtanga yoga is a tradional yoga, with progressive series of postures synchronizes with breath. There are three key principles of Ashtanga yoga: breath, drishti (focal point) and the asana. Ashtanga yoga is rather vigorous exercise and perfect for one who want dynamic and intense yoga practice.
Gentle flow yoga is slow pace yoga class that synchronizes movement with breath to find balance and connection between mind and body. This yoga is designed to reduce stress, relax the mind, and rejuvenate body.
Yoga is a wellness activity that widely practiced for health and relaxation that includes breath control, simple meditation, and adoption of specific bodily postures.
