Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures held for longer periods of time usually 3 - 10 mins depends on the level of practice and experience. Holding postures aim to harmonize the chi (energy life force) in the fascia channels as moderate stretch is applied to the connective tissues.
By practicing Yin Yoga, one can increase circulation in the joints, improving flexibility as well as increasing awareness of inner silence.
