This practice involves holding poses for a longer period of time, which helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.

I felt great during and after yin yoga. With the slow pace, the movements helped me to be aware of body parts that need stretch and relaxation. With the healing sound, it helped to calm mind.
