Yin Yoga is a combination between Hatha Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It is a static type of yoga and the target is to strengthen joints, tendons and fascia that are located deeper than muscles.

The benefits of practicing Yin Yoga are to stretch and open up our body and also to avoid stiffness. Other than physical benefit, Yin Yoga is great for hyperactive mind to have a break from overthinking. Yin Yoga is meditation within a pose.
